Evan Pincus

is an engineer, musician and writer from Los Angeles, California, and this is his website.

Who is this “Evan Pincus” guy and what does he do?

A childhood “business” card, my first

I have no plans to quit brotherhood, but unfortunately, this is outdated – I’m long since out of the labyrinth-building game. Maybe one day I’ll get back into it, but these days you’re more likely to find me in the studio, either producing, engineering and/or mixing for others or workin’ on my own increasingly strange little projects.

I play a variety of instruments, including tenor and bass guitars, mandolin and theremin (I’m classically trained!), as well as being an experienced sound designer inclined towards working with both hardware synthesizers/samplers and software environments such as Max/MSP.

When I’m not immersed in sound (although realistically, aren’t we all immersed in sound at nearly all times? It’s hard to find true silence these days!), you can usually find me immersed in other forms of art (be it film, literature, the visual arts), often writing on the subject.
